STEP 4

When UCI Extension approves your eligibility for IGSPP, an official Acceptance Confirmation Letter will be sent to you. This letter is usually sent by e-mail and will describe IGSPP policies and indicate the non-refundable Program Deposit required. The Program Deposit is only refundable under certain conditions. (Please see Registration Policies for details.)

STEP 5

When UCI Extension receives your signed Admission Confirmation Letter and the Program Deposit of $10,000, an official Letter of Acceptance (LOA), Form I-20, and Welcome Packet will be issued to you. With the Letter of Acceptance and Form I-20, you will be able to submit a request for a Student Visa from the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in your area.

STEP 6

When you have obtained your Student Visa, you are expected to pay the balance of the tuition and fees. Applicant must confirm enrollment in the program no later than 30 days before the Program Start Date. Confirmation of enrollment must include full payment of Tuition and Fees. Once enrollment is confirmed, a refund of 50% of Tuition and Fees will only be issued if UCI Extension receives applicant’s withdrawal in writing up to 30 days prior to the Program Start Date. No refund is issued after 30 days prior to the Program Start Date. (Please see Registration Policies for details.)

If UCI Extension doesn’t receive full payment of Tuition and Fees before 30 days of Program Start Date, UCI Extension will consider the application withdrawn and will cancel the applicant’s enrollment in the program and in SEVIS.
